It Says What? by PhocalComment: Such a striking image. I really enjoy the way the light is rippling outward, in a circular fashion. Congratulations on the ribbon. |

all grown up by ursulaComment: This engages me emotionally. Well done. My thoughts on this are that swings are a wonderful metaphor for and reminder of childhood. That remembered feeling of flying through the air without a care is a powerful one. One that we can feel drawn back to. Some aspects of the processing seem a bit ragged, but whether deliberately so or not I cannot tell, for example the dark halo around the hands and the transition area where the ground ends. |

Hinomaruby Yo_SpiffComment: Appropriate choice of high aspect ratio for this image. A very pleasing image. I find it simultaneously both calming and stimulating! |

St David's Dayby daevansComment: Being of Welsh heritage I appreciate the daffodil and love spoon (not sure what the second object behind that is). No red dragons available?! Nice light, but the selective desaturation doesn't work for me here. I think that is because the area of color is relatively isolated from the rest of the image. |

freeform studyby chromeydomeComment: I like this, although as yet I cannot really articulate exactly why. Interesting lines and textures for sure. On the technical side I think you either used a lens baby or blurred quite a large area around the edge some other way. The sudden transition from blur to sharp near the front banana favors the latter theory. |

I see grassby thisfotoComment: There is something quirky about this that I like. It makes me smile. I also like its simplicity and that it's all about shadows. |
