Wait just a minute! Robert has acres and acres of marsh which he claims as "his", but this area is definitely "Penny's marsh". I even have this in writing, see photographer's comments here:

A truly candid shot. I had just finished laying a trail of sunflower seeds under the gate in the hope of luring a chipmunk for Linda to shoot with Robert's 100-400 lens as it went under there. Hi Cynthia!. Ken, that's sweet of you! You'll make it here one of these days I hope.

And Linda went through a lot to get this shot... or perhaps she was just interested in seeing what the heron felt like with his feet stuck in the mud, who knows. She cleaned up well though, and was a good sport about her adventure! I think Robert has a picture somewhere...

Evokes a certain mood very well. A slight quibble, to my eyes the reflection of the sun is a distraction. My eye keeps going back and forth between the sun and its reflection since they are the two brightest parts of the image.

Fascinating and lovely. I've always enjoyed how just by rotating an image (other processes too, I imagine) indentations in the sand can appear to be raised surfaces, as in this foot. I suppose it's to do with how our brains are wired/conditioned to interpret the light patterns..

Ha!, Nice shot, and great sky. We stood at that same spot on Sunday afternoon trying for a similar shot, but the sky was much less interesting and besides a second, then a third, person kept appearing! Not voting.

FWIW: That was my intention for this pic. I kinda hoped it would be evaluated without any face recognition factors coming into play, so I'm pleased.. However, from the comments I know at least one person, Garry, recognized Robert.
