Reflectionsby jbolingComment: great idea, especially with the reflection being the focal point of your photo, unfortunately, everything seems out of focus, there's nothing my eyes can rest on. -- gr8photos. |

pepper oneby LanSnakeComment: very nice idea, would've looked good in color, too, i'm sure. i like the composition, but your lighting is a little uneven, too dark around the stalk and highlights in various places. natural light (but not direct) usually works best for me. or some tissue in front of your light source to diffuse the light a bit. -- gr8photos (5) |

Not Feeling Whole Todayby jdincolspringsComment: nice idea and tied in well with the caption. i love the angle, and your DOF. not totally sure about the diagonal lines in the wood, would it have been possible to take the shot with the lines running towards the apple? nice black background. -- gr8photos (9). |

The Stripperby shortredneckComment: you've got some funky lighting going on here, or you've played with the contrast too much. i think a more plain background would have worked better for me, and either cropping off more than just the end of the banana or having everything in the frame. this way, it looks accidental to me. -- gr8photos. |

Beauties close-upby johnmkComment: i like the touch of leaving the net partially on, and showing both oranges only partially, however, i'm not quite sold on your focal point. i think it should be more on the left orange since it's closer to the viewer and the net, rather than the right orange. -- gr8photos. |

Untitledby mjsullComment: now there's a different twist on fruit. you are quite a collector, and have some really nice pieces there. the light coming in through the window at the back is too bright for my liking, and draws the eye too much. i can also see you in the reflections, espeically in the red pear on the left. that's a hard one to control. -- gr8photos. |

Raspberry Mistby SwashbucklerComment: i have to admit ... i'm somewhat baffled by this image. this does not look like mist, but also not like rain (even though the leaves and raspberries are definitely wet), the lines are not all going into the same direction. it almost looks more as if you photographed this through a scratched window or something. i'll be curious to see your description next week. -- gr8photos. |

Lemon Dropby joannsComment: you instantly made it into my top 5 this week. the idea and the execution of it is just outstanding. i love that you chose a yellow background and how you suspended the lemon with the drop in the air. the arrangement of the other objects works well, too. one tiny nitpick would be the reflections in the bottle. -- gr8photos (10). |

Greenby DazzermasComment: great idea. nice photo. i like the stem being cropped off like that, i'm wondering whether you are getting comments that you should have gotten all of it in the shot. the water drop in the top left distracts me a bit ... either have more, or none. this way, it looks like an oversight from washing the pepper. -- gr8photos (5) |

Kiwiby jcofComment: nice idea of a close up of a kiwi, but too much out of focus. the eye need something in focus to be able to, well, focus on. -- gr8photos. |
