ima sleep now k?by fstreamzComment: challenge -- met technical -- very grainy, and somewhat unsharp picture. i'm not sure whether that's due to your camera limitations or not ... composition -- love the look on the dogs face :) -- gr8photos |

noneby dragoscapotaComment: challenge -- met technical -- i like how the OOF at the bottom gives this pic a sense of depth. i think this could've been achieved with less of the bottom (640x427 format), too. nice sharp focus on the leaf and rope. composition -- like the depth achieved. while this is a good photo technical i have to admit that i don't find it very exciting, sorry. -- gr8photos. |

Red Silk with Knot and Coinsby JakComment: curious to see what it is that i'm actually looking at here. hope you added this to your comments. challenge -- met technical -- the photo is a little overpoweringly red/orange, even though i realize that's due to the subject you have chosen. reflection on the knot in the middle is a little distracting, but overall, you have managed reflections well, especially on the coins. composition -- too busy. the middle knot and the coins fight for attention. also, while the foreground is busy with the tassles, the background is bare, i would like to see more tassles there, too. -- gr8photos |

Oreos Galore!by tracyanderson66Comment: yyyuuummmmmmyyy!!! having a hard time typing because i'm drooling all over the keyboard! ;) challenge -- met technical -- great colors and sharp focus. composition -- also nice. i like that you don't have any of the cookies fully in the pic. -- gr8photos |

"The black sun of the melancholy"by jcofComment: challenge -- met. is this part of a statue? what's the material in the foreground? i'll be interested to find out on monday. technical -- great black background (i looove plain backgrounds), complements the black foreground well. you also used your available DOF well. good colors. composition -- i wonder if tilting the sculpture a little bit (so that the head is lower) would've allowed you to still have a lot of space around it, but not quite as much. but, that's just one idea, i also like what you did. -- gr8photos. |

Flours Are SO Cliché!by GeneralEComment: LOL. great idea. for a second i was going to point out the typo, but then i realized ... challenge -- met technical -- well implemented. good lighting. i would like to see more contrast in the colors, but i realize flour doesn't come in bright red/blue/green :) composition -- also good. nice crop with the middle of the flower just in the right spot. -- gr8photos. |

Follow the yellow honey roadby psychephylaxComment: challenge -- met technical -- nice focus on the drops in the middle of the picture, the texture of the paper makes them look even more interesting. the OOF drop in the foreground is too dominant for my personal preference, did you try a crop where only part of that drop is visible? composition -- the little lines of droplets definitely add to the picture. -- gr8photos. |

Pussy Galoreby howzaComment: very nice cat shot. i'm sure you get comments that there's too many cats/flowers/babies ... luckily i like them when they are well done, and yours is. challenge -- met technical -- great clarity and focus. not totally convinced by your choice of sepia, but it's not bad, either. love the reflection in the eye. composition -- very nicely cropped and framed. -- gr8photos. |

Foot in the foodby krunoComment: challenge -- met. funny title :) technical -- there seems to a red colorcast in your photo ... did you adjust the saturation? the bee's just a tad too dark for my lighting. composition -- i like that you don't have the bee right in the center and the full flower in the shot. the cropping works well. -- gr8photos. |

let there be light...by miss parkerComment: challenge -- met technical -- nice focus, the few reflections help, cool that you managed to control not having too many. composition -- LOVE the color :) not sure about the diagonal angle, but that's just personal preference, i guess. -- gr8photos |
