Yep, repetition, but unfortunately, while the idea is really good, the execution leaves some to be desired. It's very blurry (some motion blur) and misses focus. Plus, the light on the arm is too bright. I do like that the Richie's seem to go on forever :)

Wow. Definitely repetition and definitely a stunning shot. Absolutely wonderful capture and the blue sky and puffy clouds really hellp. Oh, ok, so I'm jealous because when I went to a hotair balloon festival it was gray and drab all day. One of my top favorites here, anyhow.

Repetition, absolutely. A subject that holds very much interest it is not, at least not to me, sorry. B&w works, am curious though what color they actually are. Possibly just simply white? Nice arrangement and composition with the diagonal, and the light and shadow adds to the photo, too.

Another icelandic contribution I think :) Without the challenge topic, repetition wouldn't have been the first thing to come to mind, although I can see with the title and everything what you mean. The pic is a little smaller than I'd like to see but the focus and use of DOF is fantastic, I also like the border :) Maybe use a plainer background in the bottom left corner (or just go with b&w to deemphasize it) and I think you've done a bit too much contrast adjustment, the corners at the top are blown out.

Without a doubt my abosolute favorite for this challenge, you are bound to get one of the ribbons :) The idea, composition, and technical execution are absolutely flawless and you meet the challenge. If I look around the pic long enough I might notice that the first angel is just a little bit more exposed than the others, but I'm really nitpicking there. The crop is just a little bit tight at the bottom for me but regardless, your lighting is fantastic and they really do seem to be floating! Wow. :)

Hi Mike. I always enjoy pix of your daughter, she's just such a cutie, even when she's pouting like this. Great capture, especially with the catchlights in her eyes. The only criticism I have is that - w/out the title - I wouldn't get why this is repetition. Maybe you have to have kids of your own to get this w/out the title, who knows ...

Definitely repetition here. I like the format and the fact that you almost paired the different beads up. I think the two areas that let you down are the frame (althugh others might say the opposite, it's very much personal taste) and the lighting. You are obviously trying for high-key and an even background ... depending on your camera, try using the EV balance, you'll be amazed just how much you have to overexpose compared to your camera's default metering, plus it'll look better because the edges of objects will be better defined. As usual, this is of course just my personal opinion :)

Definitely repetition. Is this some sort of outside sculpture? Pretty cool. Was there a possibility of getting this from an angle where the buildings weren't intruding in the background? The parts that are contrasted against the blue sky look much better to me, the ones against the building are a little difficult to pick ou.

So true ... and a wonderful photo. I like that the motion blur vs. static actually means something here rather than just being a cool photographic tool :)

Challenge met - yes. Interesting focus, but not so much else that holds my interest, sorry. The horizontal shafts of light vs. the diagonal shadows are good composition-wise though, so I think you have the eye for photography, just haven't picked a subject that's very interesting to me.
