Morning Lightby malapropamComment: I like the idea here. All the same tones of color, different shade patters, the curtain positioned on the left ... but that empty crooked picture frame on the left is totally distracting. I think you should've either straightened it and put a photo in it, or remove it altogether. |

"tantra"by sanandanComment: Not a bad abstract shadow at all. And the shadow is definitely the subject of the shot. The bottom right is a little bit to blown out for my liking. |

My shadowby Bulldog50Comment: It's a shadow, but it doesn't do very much for me. What's the purpose of it? Why choose the grass vs. another background? |

Female in the shadowsby daclozerComment: I wanted to do something with blinds on a body, too, but never got around to it. I like it, but IMO, a more plain bed cover would've highlighted the shadows not just on the female, but also on the bed. Also, reposition her a little if you try this shot again so that her foot is also 'striped'. |

Summer Afternoon Snoozeby AmphianComment: Ok, here's my prediction: This is going to be this week's winner. Darn. I thought my entry was good! I love hammocks, the yellow late afternoon light on the wood is wonderful. The shadowd definitely the focus of the photo (and there are not many entries this week that I can say that about). I just love everything about this photo! My only little (inconsequential) nitpick is that the gaps between the woodplanks are not lined up with the edges of the photo. |

Fooseball Funby C3DComment: I don't get the point of turning the picture upside down, sorry. The reflection highlights on the bars are a little distracting. But there are shadows all right, so I guess you met the challenge. |

Simply Redby BNCComment: Nice. I had plans to play around with a rose and shadow as well, but didn't have the time in the end. It probably wouldn't have turned out as well as this one anyway. In my top 10 this week. |

Strung Outby millerComment: Great shot. Works well in b&w. For some reason is very soothing to look at. Composition is good, also. In my top 10 this week. |
