Mother And Childby GallatinComment: Good subject choice. The sculpture has a very graceful form itself, and also suggests grace in the religious sense. And it is photographed very well. The viewing angle you chose works well and the lighting shows off the subject's beautiful lines and form. |

Tranquilityby WesComment: The calligraphy is very graceful, as are the edges of the handmade paper. I like your photographic depiction of this art; putting the english word slightly out of focus puts the center of interest on the chinese glyph. |

After you Princessby JPRComment: The girl is catching the boy's attention! And she manages to be the center of interest in this image despite the cluttered background. But the cut-off heads are distracting and I wish the girl's eyes were more apparent. Stooping down to get the camera on her level might have helped. But despite her graceful costume, she isn't in a very graceful pose. |

Early Morning Graceby JMSComment: The swans aren't large enough to convey grace by themselves, but the rippling water and swirling mist gives a nice feeling of grace which is complemented by the unobtrusive swans. The great fall colors are a nice bonus. |

Asking for Blessingsby jeterluvr13Comment: The elements of this image are arranged nicely and the existing lighting works well. The low contrast, reddish color cast, and overall softness are appropriate for the setting. I don't care for the noise here, although it does help with the overall quiet feeling and doesn't distract too much. |

pretty girl in pink....by imagesloyolaComment: Very pretty model in a nice pose. The negative space on the left helps the composition, but there is so much the image seems unbalanced; I think about half that much would have been better. |

Ugly Duckling? Swan appearance?by amazoneeaComment: My daughter loves twirling in her pretty dress too. The position of the feet hair, and dress shows that's what she's doing, and you've frozen her motion at the perfect instant. The grass makes a nice background. Great soft focus. |

Grace 'n Beautyby eswikComment: The delicate tones and colors of the rose are captured very nicely and the piano makes a great background. A black piano would have been a lot more dramatic, but the white piano keeps the image high key and better fits the challenge. |

Church Gateby CathyComment: Nicely shows the different layers of the gate. I like the way that the front layer has brighter lighting. |
