Carpenter Handsby Prime_TimeComment: Although a good idea, this interpretation isn't very compelling. It's too dark, so the interesting details of the hands' surfaces are obscured. Including some context in the background would have also added interest (for example, his woodshop with tools or works in progress showing, or a newly framed house). |

Pianist's Fingersby sgauriaComment: Great approach, but the fingers are crowded too close to the top of the frame; a bit less piano and more hand would have worked better I think. |

Tall for Her Ageby PaigeComment: The low viewpoint is a good idea and conveys the message of "tallness". But I think it is a bit overdone. Shooting with the camera a bit higher and further back (but zoomed in to keep her the same size) would still portray her as tall, but the exaggeration would be more subtle and the overall photo more attractive. |

Devil-ish Attutudeby debitiptonComment: The attitude shows even without the horns. Great capture. Eliminating the glare would improve the photo. |

Tandemby scrum8Comment: Perfect timing and good composition. A great photo even if the heads are not quite in focus. |

Dawn Patrolby crabappl3Comment: Great colors and I love the composition. But hot air balloons are generally thought of as placidly floating, making them a poor subject for showing stopped motion. |

Around the world in 80 daysby GordonComment: The balloons are colorful and their arrangment is pleasing. But hot air balloons are generally thought of as placidly floating through the air, so they make a poor subject for showing stopped motion. |

Defy Gravityby trainComment: Flipping a photo can sometimes be effective, but this one just looks upside-down. |
