The two colored lights create an artistic effect that adds interest to an otherwise mundane subject. I think it would be better if there was less red and more blue on the head. The nails are nicely arranged so the shadows take good advantage of the lighting. Overall the image is blurry and some detail is lost in the shadows.

I like your composition. And the red bows.

Very creative; I love it. So do both of my kids, who are urging me to give it a 10! I'm inclined to do so, even if I wish it wasn't so tightly cropped. A little sharpening would help too. But I still like it.

The low key lightning, selective focus, and interesting shape make this a very dramatic image. I didn't know a dead leaf could be so interesting!

You caught the perfect pose here, and left just the right amount of motion blur. While a tighter cropping would work here (and be more conventional), your composition gives some context which makes the photo more attractive.

Beautiful photo. The motion blur and light color give the waterfall a soft dreamy look which is a nice contrast with the hard, dark, stable rocks. Most waterfalls flow in spring and autumn too, so this doesn't strongly convey summer, but I still very much like this image.

Cute shot. Softer lighting (at sunset for example) would have been more "dreamy", but may not have conveyed "summer" as well. Tough choice, but the bright highlights on the rightmost toys are distracting. A lot of lines in the picture (including the direction of the girl's face and the angle of the smaller toys) lead the viewer's eye to Pooh, making him the center of interest, and he is looking out of the photo, emphasizing this. I'm not sure this is what was intended.

True surfers don't care what season it is, but this is a nice photo. The color reflecting in the water is great and the forming waves show up well. The silhouetted surfers seem to be enjoying the beauty before jumping in and your composition emphasizes the vastness of the ocean.

This is technically well done (although some light details are a bit washed out). But it needs a center of interest, something to catch and hold the viewer's attention.
