The Little House...by TonyUKComment: Very intriguing photo. I'd be tempted to crop the left 1/4 off the photo--it seems like most of the interest is in the right 2/3. When I cover the left 1/4, it makes the gnarled roots seem even more alive.
I wasn't sure about the colors/over saturation, but the more I looked at it, the more fairy-tale it seemed. Nice job. |

Combat Water Survival: Lesson 1by molinski4611Comment: I feel incredibly guilty for saying this--but I think it would be much stronger with the flag cropped out. Because of the strange white reflection in the middle, it doesn't add that much. And the people & reflection are wonderful, it would be nice to see them larger. |

Footstepsby shotComment: I like the backlight, and like the subjects. I'd be tempted to move back a bit to get rid of the grass and the top and show more of the shadows--the shadows look like they'd be wonderful. |

Prague Sunsetby shalrathComment: I don't know that the tilted horizon does much for me--but I love the rest of the shot. Very nice color palette--soft and warm! |

Lotusby SteefComment: Nicely done. I'd burn the upper left corner a little more... |

Dreamby macrothingComment: I actually like the shot a lot. However, I think the bright green swoopy plant on the right is distracting--I'd burn it a little, or take the saturation down or something. the light color of the horse is so soft, it makes the green glow. (which actually works for the shorter grasses/plants) |
