Lighthouse Point. New Haven, CTby RulerZigzagComment: Nit picky, but your horizon is tilted a tad. It's still an 8 from me, but once someone pointed out tilted horizons, they stick out a lot when I view them. :)
But this is one of the few that I feel actually has a foreground, middle, and far part to the photo. :) |

Winter bliss by NeatComment: I really really like this one, but imo, it doesn't fit the definition. It is my understanding that in layering:
Good landscape photos have layers or objects in the foreground (close to you), middle ground (medium distance from the camera), and background (farthest away)
Really, none of this is close to you. It's all pretty much far away. We don't get a feeling of what is right next to you.
You may disagree with my definition, but I like the photo so much, I needed to explain why it is a 5 instead of an 8. |

Time to Lose the Quarantine Beardby jcarComment: Congrats on the top 10 and another profile pict! I thought for sure it would have been top five. Look at those 7s, 8s and 9s, though!
Way to go, Jesse! |

The recurring dream by NeatComment: this really is quite beautiful. The colors are gorgeous. The thing I find interesting, particularly with these colors, the recurring dream could either be a good one or a nightmare. The colors are warm and happy, and yet they also seem forest firey. |

Meltdown of Colorby LydiaComment: I would have liked it a lot better if you had cropped off the bottom and skipped the full crayons. My eyes went to those immediately, and I just thought it was a painted background. You lose the impact of the melted crayons that way. |
