Gave this a 7 the first time around -- bumping it up to a 9. For some reason this just works with me, and I really can't tell you why, because I haven't figured it out myself. (I'm not crazy about the top and bottom border, but I don't usually vote on borders)

Very clever idea and well done--would have liked for the soul to have had a little more space to depart; cutting it off on the edge it a little distracting. It's silly to say this, but if the smoke was actually exiting the picture there, it would be ok. but since it swirls back in on top, it looks like it was cut off accidentally.

anyway, that long winded addition has nothing to do with the score, just a thought. 8
