Dark Princess Clarinetby DeenComment: I'm not sure that cutting off the top was a good choice. It almost looks like an accident instead of a conscious choice... |

Into the black...by VidomaticComment: Strangely enough, I would have liked this better centered (and I'm usually a big fan of negative space. Perhaps because it's such an interesting face and it has intensity; it feels like the intensity is lost over on the side. |

Minimalism in Blackby Judi4MeComment: I do like this one. I'm wondering if you're getting hit by people saying that the background is grey, not black. |

Grandpa's Tractorby LydiaComment: I love the top part of the photo, and I don't usually mind things disappearing, but I really think that on this shot, it would have been better to see the whole tractor. 6 for that lighting on the top, probably would have been an 8 if you had the whole tractor. |

Only the lonelyby quiet_observationComment: I'm wondering if you've done something like this before... It looks very familiar. Anyway, I think it's spectacular! 10 |

Equal spaces betweenby hojop25Comment: sorry -- that's really pushing it, imo. I think you should be able to look a a picture and have a vague idea of what the challenge is about. I had no idea what your three was until I looked at the title. Imo, DNMC.
However, that being said, I think it's a very interesting, very intriguing photo. I wish it was in free study, or someplace that it fit a little more. So sorry! |

Cycle-Shoe-Rescueby drydocComment: I'm so sorry, but there's just too many subjects. I looked at the picture before I read the title, and I would have thought your subjects were the shoe, helmet and cycle, or perhaps shoe, cycle and truck. It really was more of an all things being equal: five.
Sorry, DNMC, imo. |

2 ducks for 1 fishby redpandaComment: Couple of things:
nit pick -- the fish isn't really equivalent, he blends in, and I didn't particularly notice him until I read the title. It doesn't really affect my vote, however.
It seems very oversaturated on my monitor. And I wish the angle was a little more from the right so that you could see more than just the back of the female's head. |

Identical Flashletsby daevansComment: Would have liked this better without the reflections. They're so pale, it doesn't really add much interest, imo. Sorry! |
