I'm not quite sure what to do with this one. It's a spectacular photo, yet it doesn't seem to have absolutely nothing in common with the original, except that it's the same subject. Which seems to stretch the definition of the challenge. Yet normally I'm pretty open minded about challenges. So I decided to write this long comment instead of voting, at the moment. Because I can't see voting this down, and I can't vote it high (although I'm waffling on that point). But I thought I'd share these thoughts in case you were getting low votes on this--because it is an absolutely wonderful shot.

It's replicated nicely, but I like the original better. The glass is very dark here, and looks almost more like a piece of candy. I wish the light would have illuminated it more to get more of a glow to make it more intriguing.

Funny idea, but I like the viewpoint of the original better. You don't get the worry on his face as well when it's such a low angle :P

However, did you know that in my old 1920's dictionary, potatoe is listed as an alternate spelling? I actually remember in school being told that it was an alternate spelling :)
