Thanks for the comments. I came up with the oxymoron idea and created the poster. I have this nice brick wall in my house and it was perfect for this shot. Picked a photo of a cat, printed the poster, stuck it to the wall and took the shot. Processing was all done in Lightroom, playing with contrast, saturation, exposure, etc.

Cool processing on this, and I really like the concept. I'm wondering if this is a "found" object, or did you create the poster yourself?

I like this shot quite a bit -- it's one that grows on you the more that you look at it. Good choice to not show the whole poster. (not voting on this challenge.)

Quite like this, but don't know why. I do wonder if it would be better with all the poster in the frame?

THAT is definitely an oxymoron. And a very interesting shot. I think the crop really adds interest, some mystery about the rest of the poor missing kitty. And I like the contrast of the cute, soft kitten with the hard, gritty brick.
