A Panicked Getawayby MarfunComment: excellent capture! I think it's so funny when you see a bird's tongue in a shot. You don't see it that often. :) (not voting, just commenting) |

Wild Geeseby MarjoComment: I enjoy the closeness of this shot. You can almost feel the wind from his wing beats. I love the details under the wings and how the wing blurs into the background at the top of the shot. It adds such a sense of motion. (not voting, just commenting) |

The Gatheringby grahamgatorComment: I love this shot -- seems like something melethia would take. It makes me want to be one of those people walking on the beach. It just sucks me into the photo. Nicely done! (not voting, just commenting) |

Cleared for landingby snafflesComment: Love the reflection on this. I would have liked the top 1/4 cropped off. It's interesting as far as a setting goes, but I'm not sure it really adds that much. the duck and the reflection are so much more interesting. (just looking, not voting) |

Graceful Mission by SandyPComment: Ok, since I'm not voting in this challenge, and it's driving me up the wall, I'm awarding bluebirds to my 10 favorite shots. I'll post them in the posthumous awards thread after the challenge is over, but I just couldn't wait until then!
You already know what I think about this shot. I think it's spectacular! Your egrets are truly awesome! Here's a bluebird:

Homeward Boundby MelethiaComment: Ok. Since I can't vote on this challenge -- I'm giving out bluebirds to my top ten favorites. I'll post them in the posthumous thread after the challenge is over -- but I just couldn't wait and had to start now.
What a wonderful shot! I love that you included some foreground in this image. I wouldn't have thought of it, and would have been tempted to crop it up. However, it really adds to this image and makes it as wonderful as it is!
Here's a bluebird -- and good luck in the challenge!!

Descent by aprudhommeComment: I find this quite interesting. I keep coming back and looking at it. I would have cropped in from the left a bit to get rid of the black blob in the top left corner. Very cool shot! (not voting, just looking :) |
