I think I already told you this, but I'll repeat it anyway... :D

The first time I saw it, I thought it was glorious and would have given it an 8. Now, for some reason, it just doesn't seem to glow as much as when I first saw it. It almost makes me curious whether it's daytime or nighttime viewing differences.

The pose seemed very awkward -- but it could have worked: awkward can be extremely interesting. I think the problem is that her expression seems lifeless. The lighting, the smoke, all the rest is very nicely done. It just needed a little life to it. (6, btw)

I thought it was beautifully done, but for some reason it just didn't wow me. The processing, the tones, everything is very well done, but the expression on the face just seems awkward. It's not that it seems uncomfortable, or forced, or anything like that. It's just doesn't seem to fit the photo. It was a 6 from me. Not that I thought it at the time, but it probably would have been an 8 with a better expression. The shot is beautiful -- but didn't connect.

I gave it an 8 (probably because I love the bird -- it makes the photo), but there definitely is haloing, and usually I'll take a point off for that. The water does look oversharpened.

Actually I like the one sticking out the left. It gives the feeling that there are even more that we're not seeing. When shots are too "perfect" in their placement, they look more artificial. It's better this way. :)
