Nice idea. It's kind of weird that the hand on the right is such an odd color in comparison, but the biggest problem is that the cut off finger is just a hollow arc. Where's the underneath of the finger? :)

I don't care for the selective desat. I would have much preferred if you would have left some color, just muted. I think the b&w makes his face look a little too muddy.

However -- props to your model! Great face!!

Headache

Hmmmm... I forgot this was titled "headache", and since I have a bad one at the moment, it's making it worse! Hanging upside down is one of the worst things to do with a headache, plus upside down and twisted makes me realize the pain that I didn't realize in the first go around.

You probably would have hit an 8 if people all voted with headaches. :)

And how unfortunate that people just automatically vote down what they don't like without exploring further. There are so many things that I didn't care for when I first started here -- blur and abstracts were high on the list. But I looked at each one for what it was and opened my mind to possibilities. Though I don't shoot many blurs or abstracts, I have a great appreciation for them now.

People should open their minds to all the possibilities. :)
