Chicken vs. Egg by ecmguyComment: This was completely brilliant!! Way to go above and beyond!! HmmmÉ I haven't done this type of thing to my husband yet. He put up with bathing with a lamp in the james river, I wonder whether I could get away with thatÉ :)
Congrats on a spectacular win! |

It Tastes Like Chicken by MeMex2Comment: Absolutely perfect timing on that shot! What a way to start out your lighting challenge career!! I look forward to seeing more. (and what an awesome cat! I would have liked the chicken, too. Too bad he didn't stay around more more challenges. ;P) |

Tiberiusby TiberiusComment: I'm so not sure about the slight tilt to this. It bothered me at first, but it's beginning to seem right. The guy on the left is fabulous. I wish the guy on the right receded even more in the shadows, because the rest of the scene is very, very interesting, and he's almost a little distracting. Cropping down quite a bit from the top could have been interesting, but I do like the wire. :) |

KMcCby KMcCComment: This is so wonderful with the dragonfly, but you have a lot of sharpening issues, especially when you look around the beak and around some of the grasses. I'd love to vote it higher for such a magnificent catch, but it just doesn't work with this processing. Even if it had to be soft, I think it would have worked better that way. |

tangueraby tangueraComment: Very fun and interesting, but the surrounding area is looking a bit dark on my screen, and the sky looks artificially darkened -- with a little problem area on the left of the sky? It seems like cropping out the sky or making it even darker would have been better (a black background on DPC would have helped. :)
Of course I'm viewing this at night, so I'll be curious to look during the day to see if it's as much of an issue. |

Touch of colorby marvinComment: If you hadn't desaturated the neck, this would be much better. The skin on the neck being grey looks a little creepy, but not a good creepy in this case. Sorry. :) |
