Destinationby MikeOComment: SoÉ I'm never a stickler about where horizons should be, but the placement of it doesn't add much interest. I think if the horizon line was higher up, seeing the road be more prominent, it might draw your eye in more? |

Geology Quizby GeneralEComment: I get the feeling that I'm missing a lot by seeing this on a laptop. The textures look like they'd be fascinating viewed at a much larger scale, but loses something in translation on smaller screens. |

Retrospectionby romilComment: I adore this one, but somethings just not right. I don't know if I want it cropped lower so that half of the sign doesn't show in the upper left. I don't want it cropped too tight, because I love the feel of the story. But I think getting rid of the guys head and the yellow sign would leave less for the eye to get distracted with. |

Soul drainby sarampoComment: oh this is so very cool, and awesome lighting, but the crop really is giving me a hard time. 9 with either getting the feet, or cropping it up on the jeans more. Showing just a hint of them makes it look like a mistake instead of a conscious decision.
Also, I adore negative space, but it doesn't work for me on this one. I would have loved having more space for the soul to sink into. Or even less space for the soul to move out of the frame. But the large amount of negative space on the left just shows that the space on the right is rather conventional. The combination of the two doesn't work.
That being said, the lighting, the position, the rest is truly wonderful. |

happy feetby AbraComment: Originally posted by Abra: I knew this wouldn't be well received but it didn't occur to me that this wouldn't be associated with the musical. You have to have seen it to be able to associate it. I got the reference, but having never seen it, it brought no music to mind. Still simply beautiful, though. I'm glad you entered it, because I'm pleased to have seen it. :) |
