six characters lookingby mitalapoComment: Another one that would have been completely overlooked in a regular challenge. But being forced to really look for awhile makes it an interesting statement on the girl in the corner. It's like I'm viewing her world. Seeing life through her eyes, (though she would be able to focus on other things :). Actually quite compelling. 7 |

too much hot airby PennyStreetComment: This one didn't do much for me at first glance, but gets more interesting as it goes along. The missing people in the foreground get more and more ghostly, which is odd since they're darker, and ghosts usually are lighter than the whole. But it almost seems a commentary on missing/overlooked people. I wish there wasn't so much grain in it. That takes a busy photo and makes it too busy. 8 without all the grain. 7 as is. |

Flawed springby lei_73Comment: It seems like this one had great potential, but maybe it's just because I have a headache, this one ends up hurting more than appealing. I really like the lines caused by the blur, but overall it's not working. Maybe it's too harsh of a contrast? Sorry....

Flawed Palmby WessamComment: As far as the flaw goes, I assume that it's the flare. Unfortunately, I'm not finding it that interesting with or without the flare. The flare adds a bit of interest to it, but otherwise is rather stagnant. I'm sorry.. :(

mortuus est mosquitoby AbraComment: So incredibly cool. Again, another one that seems underexposed that the underexposure is bothering me. I think it would have been a 9, possibly a 10 just a tad brighter. 8 as it stands. |

Vertigoby JutildaComment: Really quite fascinating. I think the "flaws" add to the shot and make it more interesting than it would have been otherwise. 8 |

high tideby mariucaComment: I find this incredibly fascinating. but the walls seem so dark, I really would like to see what it looks like with brighter walls (and the sensor dust gone). But the rest is very compelling. I don't know why the walls bother me. 7 for what it is now. 8 or 9 with bright walls. :)
(I know it's weird. I can't explain it. ) |

Blurred Seascapeby illini75Comment: I assume the flaw is the blur. Nicely done. Actually the only flaws I see are some sensor dust. :)
The picture is better with the "flaw", but doesn't grab me. So definitely a 6, but not higher because, though it's lovely, it's not something I'd want to go back to over and over. |

bright light spring feelingsby primabarbaraComment: So I assume the flaw is the overexposure and the focus. It actually is quite beautiful. I don't like the leaves in the bottom center (the ones that are more in focus). Without those, I'd actually think this is a 8 or 9. It's really quite lovely. 7 for now. |
