A Perfect Morningby JudiComment: Ok -- feeling mixed about this one, too. Love the colors and the processing, but the centering of the trees just feels wrong. Plus the hills in the background and that splash of pinks is marvelous. I'm wondering if it would have been better keeping things on the bottom 1/3 horizaontally, but placing the tree grouping on the lower left third instead of centered.

Survival in a Harsh Environmentby hahn23Comment: Nice. Small thing -- I wish there were more contrast, especially with your title. It's really quite peaceful as it is now, and doesn't speak harsh at all to me. |

Three on a Thirdby LydiaComment: Quite cool -- but the sky is just too overdone, IMO, plus it really brings out the sensor dust. Taking it down quite a bit would have given it even a greater sense of depth and emptiness. It hurts the photo, imo. Sorry |

Stairsby mitalapoComment: Don't know on this one. Technically, does it meet rule of thirds? Yes and no. But close enough. The idea is really intriguing. I guess I wish that the hand was a little more blurred or sharper. It's uncomfortably blurry, which makes me just want to rub my eyes. So while I really really want to like it, because it's quite cool, it doesn't quite work. |

end of seasonby tvsometimeComment: I like it quite a bit, but I wish it wasn't cropped so high -- that there was a little more head space for our person. It feels a little claustrophobic. Other than that, nicely seen and captured. |

Painting the sunriseby P-A-U-LComment: Intriguing. I wish there wasn't so much dark space at the bottom, or that perhaps there was a little bit of detail in it. But the rest is really nice. |

trekby HUETHComment: Haha!
It looks like you forced the 1/3, but I actually like the negative space in this. |

The eagle has not yet landedby skewsmeComment: That's not an eagle. I'm studying to be a master naturalist and I know my birds. It looks like either a pterodactyl or a pteranodon. :) Fun catch. |

Getting Thereby posthumousComment: Again -- another where I would actually like the subject to be on the 1/3 both vertically and horizontally. Too much foreground which isn't as interesting as the background. I think moving the biker down would be more interesting. |
