Pitcher Plantby GeneralEComment: Originally posted by basssman7: Love these carnivorous plants! I am not so sure the side view like this does it justice though. I think a partly top down view to show the insides where the insect gets trapped would add more drama. Great colour, it pops nicely. |

Pitcher Plantby GeneralEComment: Originally posted by posthumous: Elegant, nice to look at. It doesn't hold my attention for long, though. I have to say, though, that this is a very good example of this kind of picture. |

Batgirl from Belowby cginoComment: I really like the unique perspective your situation set up, and your processing and border work fine. |

Number 5 - The Buffalo by KelliComment: Given that it looks as though your original was overexposed, I think your high-key approach works well. I like how with such a minimum of data, you can still get such a sense of the wispy nature of the fur. |

Old building rusticby MelethiaComment: I definitely prefer this version -- I think it fits the feel of the place much better.
I make all my B&W/duotones "by hand" so I don't know how much control that action gives you, but I think I'd have used a somewhat different "second" color ... not sure though If I'd go warmer or cooler -- I usually experiment a bit to see what works. |

Gay Head Cliffs (APAW-4)by PGerstComment: I don't think it's oversaturated, in fact, I'd be tempted to mask off the sea and sky and make them even a little more blue.
You definitely brought out the detail, and gave a different "feel" to the day. |
