daisyby fluffyComment: I want SOME part of the picture in sharp focus, or some rationale given for it not being so... |

Dreaming of spring tulipsby cykhansenComment: I think it would be stronger if cropped tighter, maybe take 1/3 or more off the top and left. The subject should be the detail on the bulbs, and the little bit of photo showing between them at the top, and the type at the bottom right, are enough to convey "catalog" without devoting so much space to it. I'd try to get the focal plane on the roots and broken skin of the middle row. since they seem to have (potentially) the most interesting detail. |

Unwelcome Roomateby ibanComment: I trust your picture info says what this is -- it's unfamiliar to me. I'd have tried for more contrast because I'm interested in the details, but I realize it might not "look as good" that way. |

Blue Plumeby rascalComment: Very effective/appropriate use of soft look, yet has a color quality like stained glass. |

Which Came First?by emorgan49Comment: Well, in this particular example we do know...one of my favorite definitions is that of a chicken: it's an egg's way of making another egg... |
