If this is a set up shot, I think the ambience would be helped by having several smaller light sources (like flashlights) to give a blotchier look. It seems between too well-lit for a news photo but not well enough lit for coroner's/evidentiary photos. High marks for topicality and overall composition.

I hope they bought the kid a camera! Interesting use of high-contrast B+W helps focus on the characters/story rather than the advertising, while using the displays to provide context.

A clever idea well done. To me, it straddles the line between fair use and infringement -- as a personal project or parody it should be OK, but I wouldn't suggest trying to sell any reproductions...if the peacock photo is your's you'd be better off using a similar name, something like "Natural Cartographic" which would suggest but not copy...
