One of the better Bible shots ... you picked a good passage. I notice this edition just says "shall not kill" without distinguishing between the various types of homocide ... some people have been recently suggesting otherwise.

An interesting and different view of the chessboard. I'd have changed the order of the other major pieces to be Bishop, Knight, Rook, and then Pawns, both for the descending height of the pieces, but that's also their "natural" order as well.

My only quibble is with your use of the term "traditional" in the liner notes, as this is a work which can be directly attributed to a single person, John Newton, and composed under such circumstances as to add even greater depth and realism than might be suspected from the "usual" Christian imagery alone. Bill Moyers devoted an entire 90 minute TV program to exploring its meaning to various people.
