Is that somewhat near the Maritime Museum? I like how you can still see the vertical cables even though the bridge is soft and backlit.
Good to see you around! I was just wondering the other day if you were still submitting here, but hadn't gotten around to checking yet. |

Great lighting for a night shot, I like the BG too. |

I hope you've had a tetanus shot in the last few years too, although by now it'd be too late.
I trust you're not setting a new bar for effort required to win a ribbon! A pretty powerful shot with a theme and composition similar to one I did, but much better done. |

LOL -- thanks for the tip! I like the tone range -- really focus on their faces. |

Thanks! -- for a change it seems a lot of people felt disposed towards humor : )
I'd actually had this idea in mind for a long time (months) but, as usual, had to scramble at the last minute to find the scale and get the shot in. (Lack of) focus on the scale I think is due to DOF issues, as I was most concerned with the light/focus on the garlic itself (pretty good, I thought); plus, the scale is pretty ugly in color.
And I have this other idea for the next time we have a "Light" -related challenge ... of course I forgot to use it this time : ) |
