Thanks, that's about my third near-miss in recent weeks. I wonder what the record is for consecutive bottom-three finishes ... : ) |

Flowers Never Bend ...by GeneralEComment: Originally posted by jmlelii: Theres just too much confusion here in this photo. The flash against the glass also distracts. |
No flash, no glass -- just OOF shot of flowers being watered, with bright overhead sunlight.

Thanks, that was the effect I saw in this too -- I've never really done it before without using a filter, but this one is basically straight out of the camera. With this particular subject, I liked the OOF effect. |

Drain Rejects Rainby CamComment: Nice action capture.
You really ought to send that to your local Department of Public Works ... that could be a real problem. |

Rain on the high seas!by Photogirl_in_VancouverComment: Ok, to be really picky, I think "high seas" implies being out of sight of land.
But it's a good idea and nice photo regardless -- I thik it's good that the land is there : ) |

driving in the rainby photom1946Comment: Nice job; from experience I know how hard it is to frame a usable shot under these conditions. I might have shortened the title to "driving rain" for greater impact (yes, pun intended).
Drive carefully!
Did you know there's a whole website devoted to photos taken through the windshield of your car?
