One Life, One Loveby peterComment: Creative. Like the defocus of the couple but still able to see that she is giving him a kiss. I'm thinking good choice to go B&W. Good luck on the voting. |

Sunset Kissby roO_dawgComment: Like the concept, but I think the image may have been stronger if the setting sun was directly behind the couple's heads instead of being off to the left; so you may have positioned the couple to your left a step or you may have stepped over to your right a bit. IMO. Good luck on the voting. |

Target Practiceby Stephie3041Comment: I'm having difficulty with this one. Both the EOTech and the silhouette are just about the same size, both are out of focus. Which one is the main subject of this image or are both the main subject? As a suggestion to make this image stronger, maybe differentiate the EOTech or the silhouette by one being larger than the other (the larger assumed to be the main subject). Looking at this longer, I'm thinking the silhouette is the main subject and the rifle (therefore the sighting system) is the just the tool to take care of the threat (silhouette). If that's the case, then perhaps position the camera back farther to make the EOTech less prominent in size and bringing the silhouette closer to make it more prominent??? Well for what its worth... In any case, I like the concept for the challenge. |

Automatic Transaction Machineby pawdrixComment: Seems like a lensbaby image. Appears the person on the right is the main subject but I don't see what's "compelling" about the pic. It may be too out of focused to see the compelling story of what the person is doing; is she(?) picking something up or sweeping? |

A Dark Alley Encounterby bobccComment: Meets the challenge; the subject (both guy and knife) are out of focus. Image has a compelling story. However, something about this pic seems "off". Can't quite put my finger on it but the "sharpness" of the guys face/beard(?) seems odd. Still a good challenge entry. |

My last Momentby JohannesFrankComment: Having skimmed through the forums and looking over the thumbs and some images, I think this definitely meets the challenge. The guy with the gun is clearly the subject and the image tells a compelling story (even w/o the title). Good effort. I think going B&W enhances the "story". |

Mt Hood, Oregon from the north side on Hwy 35. It's way more impressive in the winter or spring when there's lots of snow on it. |

LOL, saw the thumb and thought of Clark too...
Maybe the title should be Ode to Clark... |
You guys have got me. An inquiring mind wants to know, who the heck is Clark? |
User blackbox has a whole series of pics of "Clark" his RV Clark series, many of the pics were challenge entries...
(I guess I spend way too much time on DPC) |
