Reflectionsby david_cComment: I really like the light and shadows in this image. Also like how the reflection has the back lighting. |

Mirror, Mirror...by luvmyaussieComment: Didn't enter this challenge, still have no idea what still life is. But this image is very pleasing in my eyes. I like your creativity in using the mirror to create three pears; like that you have three books. I like how your arrangement leads my eyes from the lower left to the peak of the mirror, then back down to the pear on the right. I think your lighting is good too in giving nice play of light and shadows. Finally I like the different textures throughout the image. Nice still life. |

UNDERPRIVILEGED in an UNDERPASSby Anthony_D_ArcherComment: Picture is great, title is good. This is a great pic; pretty good sharpness throughout the pic, tones are great, lighting gives the pic mood as well as the slow shutter speed (motion blur of the people further down). Only critique is a bit too much dead space on the right, but for the rule set of this challenge, an awesome image. |

cliche: The Oversaturated Photographby njsabsComment: Obviously you're making a statement (with the title and your crop), but if this was cropped tighter to the swimmer's elbows, the spray and the lighting does make this a pretty cool pic. [Then again, I likey eye candy :) ] |

Check mate...by anniekComment: Unique chess pieces. I like the POV and the lighting resulting in the shadows and highlights, gives this a "larger than life" feel. You obviously put some thought into your composition in filling the frame with the blue pieces and their shadows but also composed the opposing/green pieces in between the spaces between the foreground with the shallow DOF... The colors (blues and greens) are great, yet the lighting and composition gives this image a lot of tension. On second and multiple looks after, I really like this pic. Hope it does well for you. |

a touch of colorby curtpetguyComment: Nice. This has a "keenon" style to it. Like the processing. If this isn't keenon, take it as a complement, I enjoy her work. |
