The subject, for me, just doesn't "pop" but everyone's definition of "pop" is different. From the score I received in this challenge I may not be the one to tell you what's wrong with your's but for me personally I think color would have made this shot better. I think the lights reflecting off the side of the train are distracting and really shine too much in the B&W image. Very distracting to the eye. From what I am starting to learn on this site is that I think their are a ton of "quick" voters and if you can't make a voter stop on your photo for more than 2 seconds your bound to stay in 5 territory.

This is a wonderfully candid shot so it kills me to say that it's a little bright. I don't know how much PP could have been done to lighten it just a tad without losing too much of the photo.

I wish this one was a little more focused on the boy with the kite. The colors also are a bit drab. I consider too much PP to take away from a truly candid shot but I think this photo could have used a little without being too obvious.

I am still interested In knowig how this was done. As per your pre challenge comments this looks like an HDR. Especially with the halo effect that was created.
