Nicely framed by the mic stands, I like the sense of movement in the person and the line of her (?) back and legs, but would've maybe preffered a little more definition, especially because the drums and speakers to the right and left are quite sharp in comparison. But then, I'm not sure how you'd do that with all the smoke. The greyness fits the dark rock feel that I imagine they're playing.

Ah, it's pans! Maybe pan lids would've been visually stronger, since they look more obviously like cymbals. I like how you've captured the motion of the hands/pans (is there a tutorial somewhere?), wonder how it would look with slightly less strobes/exposures and coming in from outside the picture so you have a wider range of motion.

Don't really understand what I'm seeing here. I like light painting, reflection in the table (?) is a nice effect as well. Would be cool to explore that further, but the rest of the picture to me doesn't seem to have a link with sound (or it's a remote one that people with schizophrenia hear sounds?). I'm also trying to find a link between the light star and the book. I'm hoping this isn't gonna be one that I'll slap myself on the forehead for (the 'duh' erlebnis) when you tell what the link is.

Hehe, nice reference with a modern twist. Very well executed, just mildly distracting that the dog's behind (right side of picture) is brighter than the front and therefore draws my eye away from where my attention should be.

Hahaha! Been working my way down from first to last place in this challenge, and this is the first picture since about no. 50 that's really caught my eye. It's a great find in it's own right, but you also managed to make the best use of the available elements (the arrow on the road) to make the picture as photograpically interesting and esthetically pleasing as possible considering the mundaneness of the location. Agree with everyone else that this should've scored much higher, preferably above a lot of the tree-with-sunset pictures.

Love the facial expression, doesn't cease to make the corners of my mouth twitch. Perhaps a little more color to make it splash more? For a loud photo it's quite... subdued

I like your idea, but I think the background isn't 'still' enough: there's too much going on in terms of trees, lampposts and vans. You could maybe have made the silence a little more poignant by having a lone figure (in baseball/football outfit) leaving the field. Maybe a little lower vantage point. Of course, if it hadn't been basic editing, you could've worked with the colors to make it a feel more deserted, too.
But look who's talking: haven't posted a single picture here, still trying to muster the courage ;-) This picture did capture my imagination though, thanks.

Well thought of, nicely executed, if anything it's a little too flat, monochromatic.

Considering the other pictures in the challenge, this is not very original, but I like the execution.

It's like the story of the lame leading the blind: blind frog on the bottom carries the lame frog who tells him where to go. Then again, it could also just be a really cool shot of two frogs sat on top of each other.
