Very ethereal - mystical one might say. It's a beautiful image with the whites right on the edge. If it were allowed, I might have might up the purple just a litte to give the image more ooomph (is that a word?), but it's fine the way it is. Well done.

A ten, but the slight shift in focus detracts from its overall impact. I feel if it had been taken head on with the entire subject in focus, it would be a ten. A difficult shot and a very nicely concieved composition the just this one minor flaw.

If the bottom was cropped by a 1/3 or so, you would see a very different and very effective image - almost dreamlike. The curves of the flower would better compliment the subtle bokeh shape in the background much more effectively and the eye would have tracked this feature automatically. The crop would also have made for a much more pleasing image.

Very nice DOF control and excellant tonal range. I wonder what this might look like in grayscale or black and white. It's a good image - very nice.

A little more saturation would be a plus, but the pearlescent tone is wonderful. The fade from white to yellow to green is outstanding. Its far from a perfect image, but it works well - very nicely concieved and composed.

A very interesting macro image - abstract without being overly so. Technically its perfect, but from an emotional impact, it's average. Split the difference between the two.
