Wildly interesting effect! I know I'm asking for too much, but the level of detail isn't very high (I know this wasn't the BEST reflecting surface). The yellow row is just off the center of the globe/thing - to me, this takes the emphasis away from that box and generalizes it. (The box above seems to have really bright yellow
?jellybeans?) I do like how the boxes seem to roll off the edge of the ball into infinity (good for last week's challenge, too!). Are those fingers holding the ?ball? on the lower right? (No score issue, just asking) Crop - I think the top and bottom needed to be included, but I think you might have been trying to hide the fingers, so I'll not gripe too much. 6 Swash

A very good color desaturation (whenever I try this, it looks funny, colors bleeding and such). Image seems very sharp! Yellow challenge well met. Odd shot, you have quite the imagination! Score upgrade from 5 to 7. Swash

Bizarre shot! I'd really like to know what this is and how it was done! (I'll make a mental note to read the description after the challenge, hint - if you description is N/A or something like that, could you describe this and it's process in a comment on the photo after the challenge?? Please?) The sunglasses and smile strike me as funny/odd (in a good way!). Yellow challenge met! The yellow object is just purplexing, seems like flame, but that just can't be (how would one hang sunglasses on a flame?). Some of the dark details say "lots of post processing" to me (see the various artifacts in the shadow?). Cool artsy image. Now for the slight downside....Due to the cool effects, this seems less like a photo and more like a made up art piece (really this isn't totally bad effect, but this a photo contest, so I have an up-front expectation that the image will "look" like a photo. (Probably my bad!) Score upgrade from 5 to 6. Swash

At first, this looked a bit ho-hum, but the more I gaze upon it, the more striking it appears to me. The sun is more yellow than most suns in this challenge, so challenge met. The nearly total lack of sun flares is impressive! The silhouetted person is interesting (a bit hard to see, but I think that adds to the mystery). The far background isn't great, but could I ask you to mow down these buildings? I don't think so. Score upgrade from 5 to 7. Swash

Interesting shot. Focus seem very good, everything is sharp and clear. Framing - well, it works well enough. Color - I'm no chicken expert, but the color seems wrong. Did you manip the color? (It's totally legal, just asking) Even the red parts seem diminished. What's going on with the bird's back? Wierd looking. Background - nearly gone (a good thing!), but some distracting flecks remain. Challenge met. Interest - medium. 5 Swash

Neat shot! As a percentage, your yellow is a very small part. For some reason I don't understand, most of the heads of the seagulls seem fuzzy (out of focus?). I do like the reflections off the ice, really cool. 5 Swash

This is a fine photo. The bushes seem nice, focus is very good. The yellow is on the pale side, but enough to meet the challenge. The subject (per your title) is way off to the edge of the photo, past the 1/3 rule. Interest - moderate to low, nothing really \"grabs\" me. 5 Swash

Awesome shot! Very detailed and very yellow! Focus seems very good. Framing - well, that's the closest thing to a nit I have for this one. I don't think cutting off the edges of the flower is a good thing. On the other hand, there is so much WOW in this shot, it has to be a 10!!! Swash
