That's Close Enough!by autoolComment: Very scary subject. The wasps around here build more tan colored nests, I think their wings are clear and possibly a different color pattern. I try not to get this close. Thank you for the wonderful shot! Personally, I would have cropped this for portrait (wiped out the left, blank side). 9 Swash |

Don't be afraid ...by pnichollsComment: Background well focused. Bird fear, it will be "reaching" for most viewers. Try switching to manual focus, if your cam supports it (and doesn't error like mine). I wish I could give you a better score.......4 Swash |

Captivityby arnitComment: Nice, simple execution, it's a good idea, but needs the title to "rescue it". 7 Swash |

Arachnaphobiaby burlapComment: Grainy! Sorry if you have a low end camera. Start with more light. Next, don't crop off his poor legs, he only has eight of them. A stronger contrasting background would not hurt either. 6 Swash |

Living Nightmareby GraciousComment: She can't be that bad! (Joke) Don't like the motion, takes too much away from the face trying to look scared (blair witchy thing). 6 Swash |

Dollhead's Revengeby jgillComment: Dark, but well composed shot. More sad than scary, Chucky's Revenge angle? 7 Swash |

Caught in the Headlightsby samwiseComment: Great effect! I had thought about doing something like this, but couldn't figure out how to make it "scary". Well done! 8 Swash |

too lateby olyaComment: I think that's a horse fly, couldn't have happened to a better fly. Very good shot of the lower half of the fly, but the upper half (head, etc) isn't focused. Broaden your depth of field and get the whole guy. 8 Swash |

Chicken of the Seaby karen_vComment: O.K., I fear them too. (call me tuna!) Very good shot. I have tried these through glass underwater shots often, this is about as good as it gets. (that was supposed to sound so much more positive.) 8 Swash |
