Nice shot, good focus. (size 11 xacto blades) Watch your lighting, a bit glaring on the left and a bit weak on the right. No surprises, nothing really draws me into this photo (no WOW). 7 Rob the Swash

Silly, but kinda lacks the "art" part. Flash pretty good on the person in front, but not quite strong enough for the person in back (plus nasty shadows...). A bit of glare on the IR mouse. (Man in pink shirt needs to button both cuff buttons!)

Very well taken photo! I am amazed at how well the white rose shows up against the white background, that said, I would suggest a more contrasting background color. Very sharp. (tongue firmly planted in cheek - does the plastic roses have plastic thorns?) The pen/rose on the table doesn't seem like a good angle for viewing. 7 Rob the Swash

Very subtle photo. Nice shapes and flow, but not much to grab me and hold me as a viewer. Very sharp. 7 Rob the Swash

The sign is pretty clear, but the glare from the window overpowers much of the image (even the sign). The subject seems to be the toy in the background (see title), but the focus says the sign is the subject. 6 Rob the Swash

Very precise photo, except the right edge of the pencil (??). Nice use of 1/3 rule. Nice reflection. All that said, it's not got a lot of WOW factor. 6 Rob the Swash

It's a striking image. The saturation of the green foliage is very nice. The brightness of the sun shining through could be construed as both good and bad. I like it, as it offers a strong contrast to the green leaves, but I could see where some could call this glare...
The lamp post is sharp and contrasts well with the leaf canopy. The branches are also sharp and contrast both with the other colors in the photo and an intesting contrast between them and the lamp post. The lp is smooth and straight, while the branches are rough and twisted. Compositionally, my only gripe is a nit, where a branch appears to "grow" out of the lamp post, but that could be considered a "taste" thing, to me, it's just a nit (something to note, but not really a bad or good thing). I hope this helps. Rob the Swash

Hi, sorry I didn't get around to commenting this during the challenge. I gave this an 8. The photo is well taken. The black and white contrast levels seem to work very well. It is sharp, very sharp. The composition - good, but not quite GREAT. The use of the sunglasses/mirror works well, but could have been centered in one lens a bit better (it's a nit, but after all, I didn't mark this down that much). The hood is good, but the crop of part of the mouth just bugs me a bit (all or nothing, that's what I say!). I would have liked more mouth, it appears to be smiling and would further the idea of HSH. I know you can't control the weather, but the dark skies...eh, I wouldn't have marked it down for that, but others might.
Finally, the hook - although obviously special to you, I don't see any WOW or other interest(re:hook) item to pull my (non-biased) interest into this photo. I always ask - Would I hang this on my wall? I think you would answer YES! Me, probably not, but honestly it's nothing personal, just didn't "grab" me. I hope this helps. Rob the Swash

I loved this shot! It was just too cool. The dog is perfect, right down to it's wagging tail. Very nice job!
