National Geographicby pikytoComment: Nice shot, a bit silly....I'm not going to issue a DQ reqeust, as I'm not CERTAIN, but from the outlines of your fingers, it looks like the mag cover was pasted in (really good job if so). If true, please DQ yourself. If not, I'm sorry, that's the way it looks to me. Also, I can't quite picture this as a NG cover....sorry again. 6 Rob the Swash |

AARPby d95vetteComment: Geez, it took me a while to get the connection between retired people and that this ship is mothballed (retired, too). Very good photo, too bad about the clouds, esp. the washed out section. The ship is nice. Good color. The portrait issue might bump your score down (not here!). I'll go an 8. Rob the Swash |

The Gardenerby JonatanComment: I'm a gardener, sometimes, and while I really like this excellently taken photo....I would be greatly preturbed at a gardening magazine with a WEED on the cover, one that I have an exceptionally hard time getting rid of (see neighbors...). I'm going to score this as a 7 for the wonderful quality of your photo. Rob the Swash |

Like Soldiers Marching Into Battleby mariomelComment: Nice effect (use of mirror), but I'm not really seeing the challenge connection...Do you work in a brewery? (The caps look dented/"used") Seems like your pattern fails in a few places (both middle edges), but this is just a nit, no score effect.

I didn't notice the "suds" under the caps....so the uneven look to the caps is water droplets? (dented look) |

Casual Fridayby AleciaComment: Cheater, cheater, cheater! Nice photo, wish my office looked like this. That said, I feel you are pushing the challenge a little hard (no office, no art that I see). Still the photo quality is pretty good (white towel and white papers in appointment book get a little confused). 7 Rob the Swash |

Making the Cutby adineComment: Sharp photo and a cute idea (hits home for me!) I think I see why the newspaper (stock market?), but maybe the help wanted section would have driven this home better. Low "art", more centered on office supplies. Very little "WOW" for me. 7 Rob the Swash |

Holdin' It All Togetherby karmatComment: Very sharp photo! Nice color. Image leaves with lots of questions - why the paper line down the middle (and the circle...could these be water marks)? Why colorful paperclips in one corner and bland ones in the other? This photo has a better "WOW" factor than the pics I gave a 7 to so, score upgrade to 8. Rob the Swash |

Old Stand Byby jerrftComment: Very sharp photo. A little glare, but otherwise good lighting. Good angle for subject. Not as much art as office supply, very low "WOW" factor. 7 Rob the Swash |

Bouill, LAby GotchyaComment: Sharp photo/dramatic angle with good lighting (no glare spots, but very visible, nicely done). I'm not seeing what I'd call art, more like office supplies...very little WOW factor for me. 7 Rob the Swash |

Paperclipsby sagestudioComment: Sharp photo, but low contrast between her skin the the paper clips. Photo seems a tad bit grainy, esp. the upper neck area. (backspaced color idea) 7 Rob the Swash |
