I hope this was a "take advantage of a bad situation" shot, and not "let's break the cookie jar for the challenge!" Great shot. Too bad the floor and the cookie jar are of similar color value, it would have been more striking. 9 Swash

???Title??? Is this referring to the sliced toast, the placemat, I don't get it. This is a beautiful breakfast setting, but must children I know don't eat breakfast like this, even (esp) the boys. (I wasn't allowed coffee until I was 14). It's a very nice pic and if I could see the connection to the challenge, it would be worth a 10, but I just don't get it, sorry, my bad. The best I can go is an 8, good thing for you, I'm in a good mood. 8 Swash

Ohhh, that bring back bad memories...... Great shot, very, very effective. The closest thing to a suggestion would be to show the belt buckle, as the belt is the hardest to catch part of this shot and the most necessary! 9 Swash

At first, I wanted to suggest a little brighter, but I think that would have washed out some of the ground and tree bark, so don't do that. Shadows to sun to shadows is hard, it seems to confuse the camera. I would suggest circling round to the left. The swing bar is shaded, so doesn't show up well against the shade background, if you went to the left, you could have caught it in the sun, but I don't know, maybe the background sucked in that direction. 8 Swash

Of the four 10's from me this week, this is my favorite. This is a very well done set up shot. I like the reflection in the spoon, but a small square of light strikes me as slightly nasty, but you can touch that up in Photoshop later. 10 Swash
