| 10/01/2002 01:21:00 PM | Orange and Blueby chakkobboComment: Wow, very nice. The photo is top notch, if I had anything at all to "complain" about, it's a tiny detail in the set up. See the blue on the stem, just above the water line. This could be from capillary seapage, or an accidental dunk. If the former, sorry, but take the photo quicker. If the later, be more careful! Please remember this a a true nit. The shot is still a 10! It was just the only thing I could find to comment on. Great job! Swash |
| 10/03/2002 12:58:00 PM | Between the Treesby Ty GeeComment: Pretty shot, but I like the water part much more than the upper half of the photo, it seems too blurry. I know it would have also cropped out at least one tree trunk, but this might have been better with just the water part, but that's just my opinion. 7 Swash |
| 10/03/2002 01:03:00 PM | A very 'vine' reflection.by justineComment: Very clear shot. Your reflections are mostly shadowed, I don't know how one would change that or if that's what you wanted, it was about the only thing I could think of to say. Good color. 7 Swash |
| 10/01/2002 03:12:00 PM | Past Reflectionsby nikonerComment: I see you and your camera (twice, maybe 3x, maybe more!) It's a nice car shot, but you missed the challenge a tad. 6 Swash |
| 10/01/2002 01:37:00 PM | The Old Meeting Houseby snoopyComment: This reminds of an old nursery ryhme (sp) - there was an crooked man that build a crooked house......A bit drab, sorry. 7 Swash |
| 10/03/2002 12:49:00 PM | Reflections on driving.by linaComment: While this is a really great photo, and I love the dog's face as if it were driving, but ... shoe falling....I think this is a secondary definition of reflection that IMHO pushes the line between creativity and the boundaries set by the challenge. If this were a visual reflection and a reflective concept, you'd win hands down. I am very willing to consider changing my vote. (You also have a mirror in the photo..) Started as an 8, considering the literal/creative differences of opinion, I'll go a 6 as it really is a very well taken photo. (fair?) Swash |
| 10/01/2002 03:16:00 PM | Digital Thinker (Hmm...Which One To Submit?)by GeneralEComment: Is the reflection in the eye? I know the shot needed to be dark, but this is hard to look at. Monitors tend to not be very photogenic. Good creativity, but I needed more of the challenge aspect for a high, high score. 6 Swash | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 10/02/2002 07:47:00 PM | where the water meets the landby mnewmanComment: Very nice postcard look, meaning I like it but it's not hugely original. Good subject matter for a black and white shot (I very rarely say this!). This is definately a 9, good job! Swash |

| 10/02/2002 07:57:00 PM | Improviseby MarshaComment: Very nice! Don't normally "like" B&W, but this is too good to overlook! If I had any kind of suggestion, turn around so the hand is on the other side, maybe, but then your lipstick hand would have been in front, I could be wrong.....9 Swash |
