Cool effect, in general, I like this pic. (Just making sure - is the round part the hole we are looking through to see the lighthouse or the lighthouse itself?) IMHO, this is just too close. I get the sense of round, yes, but the focus isn't tack sharp (needs to be for this one). The lighting ranges from O.K. to harsh (on top), which completely wipes out any detail up there. 5 Rob the Swash

Pretty yellow flower! Good focus and color. Your title says to me "tight circle", but the flower isn't a tight circle, even if it basically circular - challenge accepted, but I'd suggest a different title. The cropping cuts off the circular pattern even more. As much as I like this flower, the best I can go is a 6. Rob the Swash

Very high key sort of view. IMHO, these type shots don't do well. I wish you luck. I'm not really thrilled with this...you know exactly what this is, so your eyes would tend to "fill in the details", but as I don't have your eyes, I just don't see enough information to form an opinion of quality. 6 Rob the Swash

Nice marigold. It's sort of round, the nitpickers are going to have a field day with you. The image seems very small, so it's hard to make out the details. The leaves at the middle distance to the ground seem strongly in focus (more than the flower). Good color! 6 Rob the Swash
