Great strong image - I love bold images like this (and grainy ones too). I'm sure this would have done really well in the 'Grey' challenge, I'm not sure of the reception you'll get in a Free Study though.

This is the sort of thing that might attract a postluminous mention.

There is no doubt this is a great image, but it is so nearly sharp that the eye longs to see perfect clarity at the eye and beak. I think you may have thought so too since the area to the left of the bird betrays some haloing which suggests some attempts to reclaim final clarity in software.

Great colours and composition though - overall, very nice indeed.

Great clarity and colour - the comms wires to the right emphasise the sharpness and the water foreground left emphasises smoothness and lack of noise.

Interesting subject but I think your choices with levels / curves / contrast haven't quite delivered the potential in this image. This result gives blocks of black, white or grey within which detail might have been expected.

I really like the concept here but I just want to ramp up the exposure, the saturation and adjust the colour temperature - also, I wish it was bigger. I feel you haven't pulled out the post-processing for this to be a really great image. I wish you had, it has tons of potential.

For all that still a 7, by far the most interesting so far.
