Midwayby RKTComment: I avoided the Lensbaby for this one because I felt that since the lens is all about selective focus and because that act of focussing is (for me) the very essence of its use, its applicability for this challenge would seem a little diminished. -every unfocussed element becomes a choice.
However, the image is pretty good and I have scored according to that rather than favouring my own interpretation of the challenge. I think it's pretty high on the 'compelling' scale so I've offered a 6. |

However, your choice of selective focus is very clever and sufficiently obtuse to fulfil a 'missed criteria': having said all that, I'm really only scoring on whether I find the use of blur / focus / lack of focus compelling - in this case I do. 7. |
