Dunking Photographic Componentsby IreneMComment: I'm not one to get too worked up by DNMC but I am looking for some at least a little movie feasibility and just a tad of a poster feel....
You've delivered a very interesting and wonderfully executed image but even the most admiring may struggle to rate this highly while respecting the challenge constraints. |

DaVinci's Pony Caperby sfmorrisComment: Tones aside (I wish this had a blue / white hue) this is a beautiful image - credible movie title? No. Does it have a poster feel? A tad.
Overall, great image in the wrong box. I don't really do the DNMC thing but for this challenge I have pegged your score back a little. |

Dead People Crossingby PennyStreetComment: Great street shot and although the title is movie-ish enough and the picture matches it, the image itself doesn't seem like a movie poster.
I really, really like the image and I don't normally go overboard with the DNMC thing but it's keeping me from giving you more than a 6. |

Dark Pagan Circleby alpharichComment: Credible movie title with a matching image; enough negative space for a movie poster but I can't shake the feeling that you have undersold this vision; a more dramatic edit may have helped but you may have already pushed your source to its limits.
Pretty good though. |

Done Playing "Cheerful"by photokariangelComment: I think the title could work for a artsy movie and this image works well with that vision. Given the shallow depth of field, I think nothing less than perfect sharpness of the eye is needed to really bring the image alive.
Overall though, pretty good. |

Desperately Pursuing Companionshipby kandykarmlComment: Feasible title for a movie; though completely infeasible that a lady such as your model would ever have difficulty in finding companionship!!
Photographically - very well lit, focus just a tad soft for me, I perhaps would have kept that effect (if it was software induced) off the face. The picture on the wall and the door are a little distracting - you could've cloned these out under advanced without falling foul of the rules.
Overall - nice job. |

Deadly Personal Crisisby MAKComment: Pretty good, near-feasible movie title with a well matched image. Photographically this is very good indeed. I'm not sure that your layout, composition etc communicates a movie poster but a good image. |

DRIVING in PARADISE CITY - in a rainy day, amazing things can happen...by LelezComment: I think the title stretches movie title credibility and though the picture is pretty good - it doesn't say 'movie' to me in the same way as some of the other entries do.
I actually think a portrait crop of the right hand side of the image, with the figure set a little lower in the frame may have worked a bit better. |

Duck Partner Chaseby ronaldfwComment: I think the title stretches movie title credibility and though the picture is OK - it doesn't say 'movie' to me in the same way as some of the other entries do.
I do like your use of negative space which suits a movie poster but I'm not sure about the placement of your subjects in the frame. |
