I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: This one made me stop made me look. I really like the composition and I really like the colours. The perspective on the bus is compelling too.

Critical stuff: Something looks off with this image - the boy almost looks like he has been lifted from another image, there appears to be some artefacts around his outline. Also, I can see lots of colour target banding; I don't know your workflow but something seems amiss.

Overall: I like the overall image but casting an eye into the various elements throws up some troublesome areas.

Positives: I really like this image - I'm often drawn to photos where red and grey make up the majority of the colour palette. The helical spirals are wonderful and the image has great clarity. I was going to write that I thought chopping off the top of the upper door was a mistake but on balance I think that this reinforces the notion that the spiral stairs just keep going up... no seeing the top here.

Critical stuff: Nothing really.

Overall: An image that appeals to me very much.

Positives: This isn't a scene that too many people would take the time to capture - I'm glad you have. For me, this is all about the lines, the horizontals, the verticals and the wavy ones! The composition is particularly strong - I really enjoy the proportions of the yellow to blue.

Critical stuff: The white thing towards the bottom of the wall detracts an awful lot - I can't understand why you couldn't clone it out.... perhaps you couldn't pattern match too easily.

Overall: A nice geometric presentation which is pleasing to the eye but is spoilt by the interruption of geometry by the white thing

This is really nice - great sense of depth. The shimmer on the road gives a sense of light in the scene and for me makes the image.

Great scene but I don't think it has come through your processing unscathed. All a bit 'crunchy' for me and the sky looks a little broken up with artefacts.

Quite interesting but the way it is processed the hills seem to have been overlain onto a background sky. I know it hasn't been but I think your sharpening workflow has had that effect.
