Neat composition. I really like the plant pots by the doors -- the only individualistic touches in the shot.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I really like this image - I'm often drawn to photos where red and grey make up the majority of the colour palette. The helical spirals are wonderful and the image has great clarity. I was going to write that I thought chopping off the top of the upper door was a mistake but on balance I think that this reinforces the notion that the spiral stairs just keep going up... no seeing the top here.

Critical stuff: Nothing really.

Overall: An image that appeals to me very much.

An ordinary scene photographed in an outstanding manner. Good eye for seeing the interest in this and bringing it out.
