I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Quite an extreme image - like all of the affordances of digital photography have been discarded. I do like the vintage coloration, the grain and the vignette though.

Critical stuff: The overall level of sharpness looks a little off.

Overall: Bold stuff; but I think it has some correctable elements.

Positives: Lovely scene, well captured. I like how everybody is just going about their business - that contributes greatly to the story-telling qualities of the image. The coloration is very nice indeed - it combines with the light to offer up a very relaxed mood.

Critical stuff: I'm not wholly convinced by the overall composition of the various elements.

Overall: I like it well enough though.

Positives: Just amazing! Superb clarity, wonderful texture, great light. Excellent use of negative space too. The blues and subtle orange / pink add some very special accents of colour to this image.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: Great stuff.

Positives: I like how extreme and uncompromising this image island how you've reduced all the figures to just their forms (who needs texture!). I like where you've placed the horizon in the frame too.

Critical stuff: Nothing

Overall: I think the processing works really well for this scene.

Positives: I like the POV and the contrast of the road in this image. The fog bank / cloud adds a lot of interest too. I really like how quickly convergent the lines are, gives the image great perspective.

Critical stuff: I think I may have been tempted to manipulate the curve a little to tak the fog close to white.

Overall: I like this short - lots of atmosphere.

Positives: Lovely geometry and colours - I'm a particular fan of the central red and green section. I also like the way the image confounds our sense of scale until we spot the bricks (which give us a good clue).

Critical stuff: I'm torn about the way the image is very flat - I'm sure that was your intention, but I'm not so sure it works.

Positives: Interesting image, interesting title. The purple area looks like it is something that has been embedded with a block of green glass. I like how it looks transparent.

Critical stuff: One of those where the image interest tops out pretty quickly.

Overall: I quite like this image but I suspect many others aren't not convinced.
