I love this shot and i know it was probably hard to get it from this perspective, but the black tree at the left is kind of distracting. But i can't give you a low vote, the light and the silhouetes are great, really!

I think you have a great object there. Maybe the house would be really scary in B&W, but i'm not sure. I like your idea, but the composition doesn't justify it in my opinion.
