DPCby wdebeau1Comment: Veru nice, an origianal idea. I think the idea and setup were well done but I feel you fell short on the lighting and execution of the shot. Still a nice vote. |

My Bikeby CamComment: Great idea but I think you fell short on the execution part.
I think the composition and lighting could have been better. |

Pfluger Bridgeby GordonComment: Very well done. I love the lens flare effect in a lot of shots, but I think this time it is hurting your shot. There is to much of it and it becomes very annoying. Still a nice high vote. |

Shadows Through Winesby jonpinkComment: Very well done. When I first looked at this shot I had a splitting headache and it took me a few minutes to see what it was. Now that I can see it clearly, I enjoy it very much. The setup, lighting, colors and focus all work together very well. |

Love by KonadorComment: What an original idea.
The lighting is very nice, the small splash of color against the black & white is nice. How did you come up with this idea? |

pencil shavingby timboydwhiteComment: Very nice idea.
I think your object is to small and the background is to bright.
It is hard to tell the shadow from the object.
This would have been a great entry for "Negative Space".
I think overall a tighter shot and cropping would have helped a lot.
Still a high vote for me. Great idea, and setup just not 100% on the execution. |

Flower and Vaseby JackoComment: Very good work.
I'm not crazy about the background color.
The shadow seems to be somewhat blury, did you use studio lights instead of sunlight?
The white border I think could have been thinner.
I did several of these shots and the only ones I liked were the ones I shot in bright sunlight, the shadows were 100% better.
This is still a high vote for me. |

Once Bitten...by MWittComment: Very well done. You took a big gamble submitting one of the challenges biggest fears, a "dark" shot. I hope you pull it off. I did not submit my dark shot.
I'm not crazy about the reflection you choice around the mouth but still a good shot. |

Three Kingsby crabappl3Comment: Excellent work. I love the overall softness to this shot. The lighting couldn't be better. The shadows are mysterious with the bell like shapes within and the title is great. I would love to know how you pulled this off. When it is over please give us all the details on how you set this shot up. |
