Rural American Poverty - Living Ouside the Dreamby ambakerComment: Are you sure these folks are'nt just on a holiday? ;) Does'nt matter..the idea you are conveying is good and it works well in sepia. I would have liked to see some more space on the left though as it's a bit of a tight crop. |

Hang On!by JessiComment: I gave this one a 7 for originality ( a double upside down) Now if that was a reflection in the water it could have been a triple upside down:) |

Itsy Bitsy Spiderby bobonacusComment: This was one of my faves from the start from a technical point of view and that 9 on the chart was given by me. |

Cinderella by stevieianComment: This is a beautiful depiction. I love the way you have set this up. Absolutely perfect in every aspect. The soft lighting and golden sheen is wonderful and the way the room and the girl are bathed in this light is masterly. It reminds me of the old paintings by masters like Vermeer or Rembrandt. The way the background details are enshrouded in shadow is lovely too and the girls white shirt and headscarf create just the right amount of contrast and balance in this excellent composition. |

The spirit in the bottleby MilesWComment: Creative and artistic. I really like your spirit and the way he flows upwards out of the bottle. Lovely cobalt blues contrast nicely against the black background. |

Sleeping Beauty (or Little Briar Rose)by njsabsComment: You arranged this scene in a really classic sort of way. Very well done. The emerald greens of the forest and the gnarled old tree form a fantastic backdrop and the carpet of forest moss upon which they are seated adds to the overall sphere of enchantment. Your exposure was spot-on with nice shadows and details and the whites of the sleeping beauties dress are testimony to this. You achieved a nice and natural softness to the tones and colours. |
