Terrorby idnicComment: I don't know why but I'm not convinced. It looks a little staged to me. I do think that a little more dramatic contrasting (spelled more shadows) would help to give the shot a little 'sell'...

Caught in a bubbleby hannekeComment: Don't care for the tonality but the overall shot is very nicely done! Like the circle of shadow around the 'bubble'!

Bone Yardby xianartComment: This is actually quite nice but I'm put off by the extremely tight crop in this forum. As a specialty sized print say 8 inches tall by whatever the width would be, this would probably work very nicely. Sometimes you gotta keep in mind the dimensions that we have to work with when entering the challenges.

PS: I'm bumping it up slightly from my original gut instinct score... |

sunbathingby jmooreComment: Like this a lot. However, it needs a little something to give your eye a landing place. The scene alone is not quite powerful enough.

Got Game?!by elizadebComment: There isn't anything here that is truly interesting enough to make the viewer want to look at it twice...

harsh pollutionby aplomb76Comment: Don't care too much for the tonality in this instance. Don't think it adds to the shot. It is however a very fitting shot for the challenge. Nature vs. man kind of thing.

Prairie Winterby dw_photoComment: Don't care for the added blue tinting here but it does still resemble a photograph in the tritone style...

Where even the stones are laughing at youby e301Comment: Great DOF. Great choice for b/w. Even the border adds to the overall feeling. Love the white inline that dissappears at the top of the shot. It does seem to be missing some little something though to take it from very nice to awesome.

treacherous calmby ursulaComment: Did you use HDR on this? It's one of the few shots in the challenge that I think use the new rules set to make something that works very well. You have awesome detail in the background that helps to frame the lightness of the foreground.

the tormented mindby drueovComment: I usually don't like these kind of shots but this one is very nicely executed (no pun intended!) Don't like your border but that's a sniglet.
